A.L.M.A. Events
At A.L.M.A., we focus on building a strong, intentional, inclusive community. One of our favorite ways to connect our students, parents, and faculty is by hosting fellowship events! Some of our much-anticipated annual events include:
Stone Soup — a potluck family event featuring the Stone Soup story and our very own stone soup to enjoy!
Valentine’s Cafe — a love-themed cafe prepared and hosted by the children for their parents
Winter Solstice — a celebration of the season with music, student performances, and more!
End-of-Year Festival — a display of student learning and creativity from our year-long study of art, culture, or robotics (the focus rotates as part of our three-year curriculum)
“Join Us” — local day trips and experiences for families and faculty to enjoy together
Birthdays — we invite parents to join us for their child’s birthday celebration at school where we mark the milestone with a photo timeline, a symbolic Montessori birthday walk around the sun, a community-crafted gift, and a book that is special to the child.
Plus, there are so many more fun ways that we celebrate and build community throughout the year!
